Technology Partners
Technology Partners for Secure Agentic AI Infrastructure
Agentic AI depends on more than GPUs and models. It requires an integrated infrastructure that can build and deploy the compute, make distributed data available to AI workloads, and govern whether that data is appropriate for AI use.
MikeGluck.AI explains the roles of three specialist technology partners — SourceCode, Hammerspace, and Secuvy — and how their capabilities support a defense-in-depth approach to enterprise and research AI.
How the partners fit together
Each partner addresses a different layer of the AI infrastructure stack:
Source Code
Designs, builds, configures, tests and delivers the GPU and server infrastructure.
Hammerspace
Creates a global data environment that makes distributed data available wherever GPUs and AI workloads run.
Secuvy
Discovers, classifies and governs sensitive data so organizations can determine what data is appropriate for each AI workflow.
Together, these capabilities connect AI compute, AI data, and AI governance without replacing the identity, network, endpoint, runtime AI security or SIEM controls already in place.
SourceCode
The infrastructure behind the infrastructure
Every AI strategy eventually reaches a practical hardware question: who will design, configure, test and deliver the GPUs, servers, networking and supporting systems the architecture depends on? That is SourceCode's role.
Who they are
Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Norwood, Massachusetts, SourceCode is a global co-design and infrastructure partner with engineering and production capabilities in the United States, the United Kingdom and other regions.
Why it matters
AI infrastructure must arrive as a validated system, not a collection of parts. SourceCode works with technology manufacturers and customers to configure, integrate, test and deploy infrastructure for demanding AI, HPC and data-intensive environments. SourceCode is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Comark, a SourceCode company, is an ITAR-registered manufacturer — relevant for government, defense and university research environments that handle export-controlled or sensitive workloads.
Proof point
Vanderbilt University's GPU, server and Hammerspace deployment was supplied through SourceCode.
Hammerspace
Make data available wherever GPUs are
AI infrastructure is often limited less by GPU capacity than by the difficulty of moving the right data to the right compute at the right time. Hammerspace addresses that data-access problem across storage systems, data centers, clouds and geographic locations.
Who they are
Hammerspace provides a global data platform that presents distributed file and object data through a unified namespace. Its data-in-place architecture allows applications and users to access data across heterogeneous infrastructure without requiring wholesale storage replacement or unnecessary copies.
Why it matters
Research and enterprise data rarely lives in one system. Hammerspace helps organizations orchestrate data to GPU-intensive AI and HPC workloads while retaining flexibility across existing storage, NVMe resources, cloud infrastructure and future platforms. In March 2026, Hammerspace introduced its AI Data Platform, or AIDP, based on an NVIDIA reference design. Secuvy Data Security Posture Management is integrated into the AIDP appliance and accessible through the Hammerspace user interface.
Proof point
Vanderbilt University's Advanced Computing Center for Research and Education selected Hammerspace to unify a 10-petabyte research environment spanning approximately 750 compute nodes and 80 GPU nodes. According to the published case study, the deployment replaced three disconnected storage environments with one platform and achieved a 48 percent reduction in average storage cost.
Secuvy
Governance that understands what it is protecting
Traditional data-loss prevention often depends heavily on fixed patterns, such as Social Security or credit-card number formats. Research data, intellectual property, CUI, ITAR information, clinical data and other sensitive content frequently require context that pattern matching alone cannot provide.
Who they are
Secuvy provides AI-powered Data Security Posture Management. Its platform discovers and classifies structured and unstructured data, identifies sensitivity and regulatory context, and supports policy, remediation and audit across hybrid data environments.
Why it matters
Identity systems determine who or which agent may access data. Secuvy helps determine what the data is, what risk it carries and whether it is appropriate for a particular AI workload. This closes an important gap: authorized access does not automatically mean appropriate AI use. Within Hammerspace AIDP, Secuvy's integrated data intelligence helps organizations extend governance into the data-delivery layer rather than treating it as a separate after-the-fact process.
Defense and regulated-data example
In a published case study involving a major U.S. defense contractor, automated discovery found that 38 percent of files were misclassified against ITAR, CUI and sensitive-PII guidance, and only 1 in 20,000 export-controlled files carried the correct sensitivity label.
Biopharma example
In another published case study, Secuvy helped a biopharmaceutical company govern clinical-trial data and intellectual property distributed across a global third-party ecosystem. Reported outcomes included quantifying 30 million dollars in residual risk, reducing cyber-insurance premiums by approximately 40 percent, and bringing more than 60 vendors under governed control with less than one full-time employee.
The Governed AI Data Plane
Closing the gap between authorized access and appropriate AI use
Hammerspace and Secuvy combine data orchestration with data intelligence and governance. The result is a Governed AI Data Plane that helps organizations control what data reaches training, retrieval-augmented generation and agentic AI workflows — and preserve evidence of what was included or excluded.
WHO
Identity security determines who or which agent may access.
WHAT
Secuvy determines sensitivity, risk, context and appropriate use.
WHERE AND HOW
Hammerspace governs data placement and delivery.
AGENT BEHAVIOR
Runtime AI security monitors actions and tool use.
WHAT HAPPENED
SIEM and audit systems record activity for investigation and proof.
This is defense in depth for AI infrastructure. Hammerspace and Secuvy complement existing cybersecurity controls by closing the gap between authorized access and appropriate AI-data use.
